Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of the SecScope website and client portal provided by SECSQUAD.
Last updated: June 20261. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the SecScope website or client portal (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. The Services
SecScope is the client portal for SECSQUAD penetration testing, where you can request engagements, follow findings in real time, communicate with your testers, track remediation, and download reports. The penetration-testing services themselves are provided under a separate engagement agreement or statement of work; these terms cover your use of the website and portal.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for the team members you invite and the access levels you grant them.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services unlawfully or in breach of these terms.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Reverse engineer or misuse the Services except as permitted by law.
5. Findings and reports
Findings, evidence, and reports made available through the portal are provided for your organisation's internal security purposes. You are responsible for acting on findings and remediating issues. A penetration test is a point-in-time assessment and cannot guarantee that all vulnerabilities have been identified.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including their software, design, and content, are owned by SECSQUAD and its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Reports we deliver to you may be used within your organisation for your internal security and compliance purposes.
7. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's confidential information. We treat your engagements, findings, and reports as confidential and limit access to your team and the consultants assigned to your test.
8. Third-party integrations
The Services may integrate with third-party tools (for example, ticketing systems). Tool names denote compatibility only and not partnership or endorsement. Your use of third-party tools is governed by their own terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a security assessment will detect every vulnerability.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SECSQUAD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify SECSQUAD against claims arising from your misuse of the Services or breach of these terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for breach of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SECSQUAD is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The specific governing law and venue should be confirmed before launch.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
